Administrative Assistant, Major Gifts & Planned Giving

Term: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Description: The Administrative Assistant will provide office and administrative support to the Associate Director of Major Gifts and one Senior Development Officer. Specifically, the Administrative Assistant will prepare correspondence, track and maintain data related to fund raising efforts and progress, generate and run reports, maintain calendars and schedule meetings and appointments. In addition, the Assistant will coordinate travel calendars and arrange itineraries, prepare expense reports and process invoices and purchase orders. Will also assist with the coordination and logistics of events and assist with special projects.

Requirements: High School diploma and minimum of three to five years office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of Word and Excel is essential. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. Ability to handle confidential matters with tact and discretion and the ability to work independently are a must.

Salary: Office/Clerical Grade 4
