Systems Analyst

Term: Full-time, 12 months

Reports to: Director of Advancement Services

Description: The Systems Analyst provides programming and technical support to users of the Banner administrative information system within the College Advancement division. Specifically, the Systems Analyst will perform program modifications and enhancements, develop reports, maintain data integrity and consult with and assist Advancement division staff in applying information technology to meet divisional needs and objectives. In addition, he/she will maintain program and operational documentation, coordinate testing of system upgrades and serve as the IT liaison for the division.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and three or more years experience working as a program analyst or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Significant experience with relational databases and proficiency with report writing tools, preferably FOCUS or WEBFocus, is essential. Knowledge of and experience with one of the major higher education database products (i.e., SCT/Banner, PeopleSoft, or Datatel) preferred. Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal, organizational and oral and written communication skills are essential.
