A. Javier Treviño
Research Interests

Georg Simmel Professor Treviño is particularly interested in the Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Sociological Theory, especially the works of C. Wright Mills, Talcott Parsons, Erving Goffman, and George C. Homans. He served as President of the Justice Studies Association. He serves on the editorial boards of Social Problems, Contemporary Justice Review, and Sociological Imagination. He is Representative of Region I for the United Chapters of Alpha Kappa Delta.
