How do I become a Psychology Major?

During your first two years, take Psychology 101 to find out what is included in the study of psychology, and Math 141 to prepare you for research methods. You may also take any 200 level Psychology class, including Psychology 202, the methods course, to prepare you for more advanced courses. Early each Spring Semester, there is a general meeting for all sophomores interested in majoring in psychology. At this meeting you will learn more about the major, complete the forms to declare the major, and be assigned to your permanent psychology advisor. If you are unable to attend the meeting please see the chair.
