Music is a vital component of the liberal arts curriculum at Wheaton. Both in the classroom and in the performance hall, our students study music in its diverse languages, from classical to jazz to world music. Our faculty include performers and composers, historians and theorists, all eager to discuss how these varied musical traditions have evolved, how they are constructed and performed, and where they are going.
