Latin American Studies

Those who minor in Latin American Studies will develop an integrated understanding of the cultures and histories of Latin America and of Latinos/as in the United States.
The minor offers opportunities to explore the arts, economies, indigenous and African cultures, literatures, and the political and social dynamics of most of the Western Hemisphere. The Latin American Studies program is part of a wider, interdisciplinary effort at Wheaton to develop an appreciation and broader understanding of the diversity and dynamism of cultures in Latin America,the US and the world. |
