The Library, Technology and Learning Committee, or LTLC, was initiated for the purpose of improving the use of information resources and their impact on the learning process. It offers leadership and support for faculty seeking to enrich their teaching through the use of library and technology resources. The LTLC fulfills its mission by providing semi-annual workshops for faculty, to illuminate new technologies and their usefulness in the College classroom. The Committee provides stipends to faculty members researching new teaching applications of technology or information. It serves as a voice for the College, speaking about our institutional initiatives in the area of computers, communication, and information, both scholarly and administrative. Composition of Committee:The Commitee on Library, Technology, and Learning shall be composed of five members of the teaching faculty, two student members, the Associate Provost, the College Librarian, the Director of Academic Computing, and, as non-voting members, the Assistant Director of Academic Computing, and the Director of Information and Technology Services, and the Associate Librarian. The chair shall be selected by the Committee from among the five teaching faculty members. The faculty members shall be appointed by the Committee on Committees and Agenda to represent each of the following divisions: mathematics and computer science; the foreign languages and literature; the humanities; the social sciences; and the physical and biological sciences.
