History & Social Sciences
There are many excellent web sources for social studies that provide access to original documents, visual sources (maps, photographs and art work) and classroom suggestions. A few to try are:
- Globalearn
http://www.globalearn.org - History Source Materials on the Internet http://www.jewell.edu/academia/departments/history/resources/default.htm
- Facing History and Ourselves helps teachers and students to link the
past to the moral choices in the world today. This nonprofit
organization offers workshops, inservice and classroom resources.
The website is a terrific resource in and of itself and well worth a
visit.

MA Department of Education regulations for Teacher Licensure change yearly as do education requirements and forms. It is therefore critical that students contact the appropriate Wheaton Education Department faculty advisor to obtain the most up-to-date information and education minor requirements documentation.
